Meet Dr. Redentor Antonio R Roy, M.D.

PROFILE

Dr. Redentor Antonio Roy, who hails from the Philippines, obtained his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in 1992. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in the Columbia University-affiliated program at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City in 1997. He went on to a Nephrology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and later, joined Houston Nephrology Group in 2002. Dr. Roy is a commissioned officer for the Medical Corps of the United States Navy Reserves. He currently serves as a Battalion Surgeon for the 1st Battalion 23rd Regiment 4th Marine Division. His clinical interests include chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis and kidney transplantation.
