Meet Dr. Vijayaprakash Sreenarasimhaiah, M.D. (Dr. Sree)

PROFILE

Dr. Vijay Sreenarasimhaiah, also known as Dr. Sree, graduated with distinction from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. There he was president of AOA, the medical school honor society. He received further training in internal medicine, pediatrics, and nephrology at St. Louis University. There he served as chief nephrology fellow during his last year.

He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. He previously served in the clinical practice committee for the latter organization. Recently, he served as president of the Western branch of the Harris County Medical Society.

His current practice includes treatment of children and adults with acute and chronic kidney disease. He also performs a variety of clinical procedures related to dialysis access and vascular medicine. He manages the care of renal transplant patients.
